Rome
Welcome to Rome! We transfer you to your hotel, where an information board will have details about your tour, and your guide will meet you at the scheduled time. In the evening we take you to Via Cavour, a great introduction to the city with plenty of Italian and international dining options.
Rome
A three-hour guided tour combines a walk through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride past the Arch of Constantine, the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums and Circus Maximus, ending near Vatican City with an optional visit to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. In the evening we transfer to lively Trastevere for dinner on your own.
Florence
Leaving Rome, we head to the Piazzale Michelangelo viewpoint for breathtaking views over Florence, then take a guided walking tour of the historic centre, visiting the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. The evening is free to enjoy Florence's varied dining scene.
Venice (Mestre)
Crossing the Apennines, we arrive in Venice and take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the island, visiting the marvellous St Mark's Square with a local guide and touring the Murano Glass Factory. Accommodation is in the Mestre district.
Innsbruck → Zurich
We depart Venice for Austria, stopping in Innsbruck's historic centre with time to explore and enjoy lunch, before continuing through beautiful Tyrolean landscapes into Switzerland, arriving in Zurich.
Grindelwald → Lucerne → Zurich
We enjoy breathtaking Interlaken-region scenery, stopping in Grindelwald for coffee before a cable car ride up to a suspended mountain bridge, with an included lunch on the mountain. We then visit the beautiful city of Lucerne before returning to Zurich; an optional full-day excursion up Mount Titlis is also offered.
Zurich
After breakfast, our journey comes to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
